Using the site

By continuing to use this website, you acknowledge the terms that apply to the information and material available here. The site is intended to help visitors explore Flop And Char Coal, including its restaurant, menu, interior and physical Card Room experience.

02

Visiting the venue

Choosing to attend the restaurant or take part in an on-site activity means you agree to follow the applicable venue guidance. Restaurant visits and poker participation are distinct parts of one hosted hospitality setting, and event-specific instructions may add practical detail for the day.

Website use and content

01

Information on the website

Plan with current details

Website information is provided to help you explore the restaurant, menu, interior, Card Room and what is on at the venue. Menus, programming and poker-related venue information are useful starting points for planning, but visitors should check the relevant current event information before making plans. Nothing on this site creates an online poker service, remote participation option or online account.

02

Responsible use

Use the site respectfully

Please use the website lawfully and respectfully. Do not interfere with its operation, misuse material made available through it, or represent that you are connected with Flop And Char Coal when that is not the case. Keep communications and use of the site consistent with its purpose: helping people discover a contemporary restaurant and its in-person venue experiences.

03

Our content and brand

Ask before reusing material

The Flop And Char Coal name, written content, photography, visual identity and other material presented on this site should not be copied, republished or reused without permission. If you would like to request permission to use site material, contact the team at [email protected]. This keeps the site presentation clear and recognisable for visitors.

03 / In person

Restaurant and Card Room conduct

Flop And Char Coal is a shared hospitality space: the restaurant, dedicated physical Card Room, card lounge and poker salon are designed for dining, social connection and considerate participation. Poker tables are part of a hosted, in-person experience inside the restaurant. Please follow reasonable directions from the venue team so the room can work comfortably for guests, service and play.

01

Respectful behaviour

Please treat guests, team members and fellow participants with respect. Help maintain a comfortable environment around dining and play. Disruptive or unsafe conduct may affect your ability to remain in an activity or venue area, so that the experience can remain welcoming for diners and poker participants alike.

02
Chips only

Care for the room and tables

Please treat furniture, poker tables, chips, cards and the restaurant surroundings with care. These are shared physical materials prepared for service and events. Poker uses chips only, and visitors are asked to respect the way the Card Room and dining areas are set for each hosted occasion.

03

Team guidance during an event

Practical instructions from a host or venue team help keep a poker night, poker event or Texas Hold’em tournament orderly, welcoming and on schedule. Guidance may cover seating, table flow or event timing. Following it supports an enjoyable in-person experience for everyone. Visit the Poker Lounge.

04

Offline only

Offline poker participation

Offline poker at Flop And Char Coal is strictly physical entertainment, held in person inside the restaurant at poker tables in the Card Room. Participation takes place at the venue, not through this website, an app or any remote service. The restaurant remains the setting: poker is a hosted social extension of the hospitality experience.

Chips only

Chips and table play

Poker uses chips only as part of the hosted table experience. Cards, chips and table arrangements are physical event-play materials for in-person activity; they are not cash equivalents. This approach applies to Texas Hold’em and general poker activity at the venue, without creating a technical game ruleset or financial feature.

05

Hosted occasions

Events, tournaments and buy-in information

Poker nights and poker events

Scheduled poker nights and poker events are in-person activities held at the restaurant and Card Room. Relevant what’s-on information may describe the practical format for a particular occasion. Timing, seating and table format can vary by event, so use the applicable information and venue guidance when planning a visit rather than assuming a fixed schedule, frequency or availability.

  • Format: check the event information for the hosted table experience.
  • Timing: follow the current guidance for the occasion.
  • Venue: participate in person inside the restaurant.
05 Texas Hold’em

Texas Hold’em tournaments

Texas Hold’em tournaments are hosted offline at the venue and are organised table experiences using chips only. Participants should follow the relevant host guidance and event information for the occasion. This wording does not add blind structures, player limits, rankings or outcomes; it simply confirms the physical, hosted setting for the activity.

Buy-in information

A participation reference, not a financial feature

Where buy-in information is used for a particular hosted experience, it is event participation information only. It must not be interpreted as a deposit, withdrawal, bet, cash prize or monetary value. Poker remains strictly offline physical entertainment inside the restaurant, with chips used only for the hosted table experience. Check the applicable event details or ask the team if anything is unclear.

Questions about a high roller-themed poker night, its format or participation guidance? Ask the team before attending at [email protected]. Attendance is always in person inside the restaurant.

Practical conditions

Changes, access and safety

01

Changes to information and experiences

Venue information, menus, programming and poker-event arrangements may change. Before planning a visit, check the relevant current information for the restaurant or event you are considering. This is a practical reminder for visitors and does not promise a particular notice process, cancellation arrangement or outcome.

02

Access and participation

Participation in a restaurant or Card Room activity is subject to the venue environment, available space and reasonable team guidance on the day. This helps maintain a welcoming and workable in-person experience for diners, guests and those taking part at the poker tables without assuming a reservation, capacity or ticketing arrangement.

03

Safety and responsibility

Please make sensible choices for your own wellbeing and for those around you while dining, moving through the restaurant and participating at poker tables. Respectful participation and practical team guidance help make the shared venue comfortable for everyone, without creating a detailed security, medical or liability policy.
