Card Room / Offline only

Daylight meets
the dealt hand.

Bright contemporary bistro interior with ivory surfaces, timber tables and cobalt accents
A room that changes with the day: open tables and daylight first, then amber timber, cobalt shadow and restrained cherry service cues for a warmer card lounge and poker salon mood.

Flop And Char Coal is a contemporary bistro with a dedicated physical Card Room inside the restaurant. Food, conversation and gathering lead the way; in-person poker is a social extension, played strictly offline around real tables.

The bistro in daylight

Light, material and room to gather.

The restaurant interior is designed to feel open from the first arrival: a contemporary bistro where the table is practical, generous and ready for the pace of the people around it.

01

Light that leaves room for lunch

Natural highlights move across the bistro without turning the room into a showpiece. Open sightlines keep a meal, a catch-up or an unhurried arrival feeling easy, while tables are arranged for conversation rather than spectacle. It is a daylight restaurant first: comfortable enough to settle into, clear enough to notice the food, the people and the changing energy of the room.

Cobalt, ivory and timber

Ivory keeps the room open, cobalt gives the interior a confident line to follow and dark timber grounds the dining experience with warmth. The geometry is purposeful wayfinding rather than decoration for its own sake. Small cherry-red service details sharpen a moment without taking over, so the same visual language can carry naturally into the evening.

03

Seats for the pace of the table

There is room for different rhythms. A meal, a drink, a shared night or a pause before the Card Room can all begin in the same restaurant. The interior does not ask every group to use the room in one way; it lets the social pace of the table set the tone, before the warmer poker lounge story comes into view.

The table first

Made for the conversation around it

The dining table is the centre of the visit: food, drinks, shared plates and the lived texture of timber, ceramic and cobalt linen. It is where an evening gathers its pace without being overplanned. If people choose to continue into the dedicated Card Room, they do so in person and nearby, as part of the same restaurant experience rather than a separate destination.

From dinner to the Card Room, the dedicated space stays physical, social and strictly offline.

Visit the Card Room

Offline only

A physical room for physical play.

Inside Flop And Char Coal, the dedicated Card Room brings people together around real poker tables. Cards, chips, staff presence and table conversation are tangible parts of the setting, with the relaxed character of a card lounge and poker salon rather than a separate gaming venue. Dining and hospitality remain connected to the room’s purpose: a considered place to gather, pay attention and share an in-person evening.

Offline only

Offline means in the room

There are no online games, online gambling, betting or sportsbooks here. There are no deposits, withdrawals, cash winnings or monetary values presented through the poker experience. Play is strictly offline, inside the restaurant and in person. Poker uses chips only.

A distinct mood, not a casino

Timber warmth, focused table light and cobalt shadow make the Card Room more intimate after dark while keeping the bistro’s character recognisable. It is not a high roller promise or a financial-reward environment. The mood is social, attentive and tactile: a poker salon shaped by people at the table.

Day to night

How the room shifts after dark.

The change is one of atmosphere, not identity. The same restaurant turns toward a warmer card lounge mood while keeping the visit grounded in people, food and physical presence.

01

The light narrows

Daylight openness gives way to warmer pools of light that make each table easier to gather around. The effect is intimate rather than theatrical: faces, cards and table detail stay visible, while the room feels more focused for an evening together.

02

The timber comes forward

As the room deepens into cobalt, timber becomes the warm material anchor. It gives the card lounge a calm, grounded edge and helps the poker salon feel connected to the bistro rather than detached from it.

03

The table becomes the focus

Offline only Poker tables become a social focal point for cards, chips and attentive conversation. A poker night or poker event can bring a tighter focus to the room, but play remains in person, strictly offline and chips only.

Still part of the restaurant: a change of mood inside the venue, not a separate gambling destination. Practical participation guidance comes from the team.

Offline only

Cards, chips and conversation.

At the poker tables, the point is face-to-face attention. Real cards, physical chips and people gathered around the felt create a shared rhythm of etiquette and conversation in the Card Room. In-person poker belongs to the room, not a screen, and the setting remains welcoming without turning the table into a spectacle.

Poker night has a social rhythm

A poker night is an occasion inside the restaurant where people gather at physical tables and let dining and the card lounge form one night out. It does not suggest that play is always available, but it does make space for a considered, in-person reason to stay together.

Poker event, clearly bounded

Any poker event remains strictly offline and inside the restaurant. There are no online accounts, betting, sportsbook activity or financial transactions in the experience. Cards and chips stay in the physical room, where the focus is shared participation.

A considered table culture

This is not a high roller proposition. The poker salon values shared presence over financial reward, making the table feel attentive and sociable in the same hospitality spirit as the restaurant around it.

Texas Hold’em

A room built for a shared format.

Texas Hold’em tournaments and related poker events belong in the dedicated Card Room as in-person, table-based occasions. The format lives around poker tables, physical cards and chips, with people reading the room as much as the hand. This page does not promise dates, schedules, capacity, prizes or entry amounts; it simply shows where this kind of social, offline entertainment sits within Flop And Char Coal.

Interior cues

Room by room, one venue.

The interior moves through distinct moods without asking visitors to choose between restaurant and poker lounge from the start.

Restaurant interior perspective moving from a bright bistro foreground toward a warmer Card Room atmosphere
One venue, several paces: a meal, a gathering and a physical poker occasion can belong to the same visit, each in its own part of the restaurant.

01

The bistro floor

The open restaurant zone is the welcoming first room: daylight, food, service and tables establish the pace of the venue. This restaurant interior keeps dining at the centre, making the first impression generous and social before any later change in atmosphere.

02

The turn toward the Card Room

Colour, timber and a more focused atmosphere signal the turn toward the dedicated physical Card Room. It remains inside the restaurant, but the visual shift lets the space feel intentional without claiming a literal floorplan or separating it from the bistro.

03

The poker salon

The warmer evening destination is a card lounge for offline poker, physical cards, chips and conversation at poker tables. The poker salon is in person and chips only, with a calm social character that avoids casino spectacle while giving the table its own focus.

Good to know

Before a poker night.

A few clear points keep the Card Room experience easy to understand before you visit.

01

It is in person

All poker happens physically inside Flop And Char Coal. It takes place around real poker tables in the dedicated Card Room, with cards in hand and people present at the table. No schedule is implied here; the experience is always rooted in the room.

02

It is offline only

There is no online poker, online gambling, betting or sportsbook activity connected to the Card Room. The experience is deliberately visitor-facing and simple: turn up to the restaurant, be present in the room and keep the focus on social play.

Chips only

Chips stay at the table

Poker uses chips only. There are no cash winnings, deposits, withdrawals or monetary values presented as part of this experience. The chips belong to physical table play and are not framed as cash equivalents or a financial outcome.

04

Check the occasion with the team

For a particular poker event, poker night, Texas Hold’em tournaments or buy-in participation guidance, ask the team before planning your visit. The conversation is about practical attendance in person, not online or financial participation.

Physical play inside the restaurant. Chips only. No online gambling, betting, deposits, withdrawals, cash winnings or monetary values.

Make a night of the room

Come for the table. Stay for the room.

Experience the restaurant interior as it moves from daylight bistro to evening gathering place. The dedicated physical Card Room and poker lounge are part of the same hospitality destination: a social, in-person extension for visitors interested in physical cards, conversation and strictly offline play.
